The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture debuted its newest exhibit, Soy de Tejas: A Statewide Survey of Latinx Art.

The new, temporary installations feature 100+ works by 40 contemporary native Texas and Texas-based Latinx artists.

Held at the Centro de Artes Gallery in Historic Market Square, the exhibition will run through Sunday, July 2.

The installation “explores themes ranging from race, class, and gender to migration, mythmaking, displacement, and indigeneity,” shared Rigoberto Luna, co-owner and director of Presa House Gallery.

The exhibition fills both large floors of the Centro de Artes Gallery and range from multimedia installations and performance art to paintings, drawings, and sculptures.

Visitors can stop by Wednesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. every weekend. Admission is free.
